Hehe, oh it's just that the food sometimes takes a long time depending on how busy the place is. Plus if you get a couple rounds of drinks, you can easily be there for 2 hours. big_smile

Also, your open mic performance was great! Awesome night.

Thank you so much, man! I just uploaded it to the Soundcloud. smile Let's hit up that place next time or something!

goddammit that better be a sign of things to come minusbaby

Haha. Nice. I might be down for grabbing grub/drinks before and/or after, but I don't know the area well so we may just be getting there, parking, then eating/chilling at the place across the street (Queen of Sheba) until it starts.

Both tracks are great, but Evidence was the killer for me. Great job!

Chipmusic is dead and you sir, 4mat, are the murderer with that sick track.

The trilogy of "Porcelaine," "Surrender," and "Starfields" (the intro, especially) really got to me as well. Also, the tail end of "Rodeo Deal."

Absolutely brilliant work.

Nothing else even really needs to be said IMO.

We (as humans) naturally tend to seek the motivation for our behaviors, and this topic is no different. Of course, when two contrasting motivations arise, we aim to justify our own approach. Let it be. You enjoy it because you enjoy it.

One word for me: workflow.

Compositionally AND in terms of interface.

I got one of those in mint condition (in box) a while back too. It's a great little unit. It's stupid to argue batteries over it-there's virtually no reason to waste AA batteries if you're at home, so this unit comes really in handy then. I keep it plugged into the wall for long composing sessions. This way you save your AAs only for playing out.

Part of the reason I got the AC adapter in the first place. I have a deep seeded fear of losing save data due to my batteries dying in the middle of an LSDJ session.

Don't think that it still can't happen, though. When you're working on a charged battery pack, be careful not push the time limit. When it starts running out of battery you'll see the screen start to fade. You have about 30 seconds to save and/or safely turn off to save the work memory. Don't plug in the extension cord into the pack while the gameboy is on or it'll reset.
