Also if you are in live mode you can stick an HFF at the end of a chain and it will stop playing that channel.

Wait, so all that talk about the SNES running about 2% faster and effecting the pitch is no longer valid...?
Not for almost a decade now:

Ah, that's why I asked. I've heard OSX can be unreliable for MIDI sysex. Possibly related, I found this:
Where have you heard this? I regulatory use sysex on osx fine with max4live and http://www.elektron.se/products_section nager-osx, but would love to read more about it. I doubt its the os as much as the software tools not keeping pace with OS requirements.

I've never done that. Dialogue clips sure but I've never been interested in sampling a popular song.

No he didnt!
crystal castles:
criminality 8/10
excitement 7/10
likeability 3/10
overall score 18/30this wild canadian couple (or was it australian) shot to superstardom in 2007 or 2008 with their debut album "crystal castles"... little did most of their fans know that their myspace page was harbouring a dark secret: a song by 8bitpeoples star LOBAT. if you looked closely you could find traces of theivery on the album too, with a snare drum stolen from COVOX hidden on one of the tracks. Also they stole some picture of some woman for their next album that no one liked. i dont think they ever apologised and the guy who made the backing tracks was a complete dork so they get a 3 out of 10 for likeability.
timbaland:
criminality 10/10
excitement 1/10
likeability 0/10
