Where are you located ?

I believe the pins are on the PCB to the right of the chip in the screenshot, but it looks like he left the headers soldered off.. Atmel programers are pretty cheap as well fwiw.

It is one of the newer models and I don't see any FTDI port. The only places to plug anything in are the Midi In, Out, Link, and 9v.

You might have to open the case up, and look either for some pins or unsoldered holes that match this kinda of cable:

If you post a pic of the pcb we can probably point it out for you.

My xiwi had a FTDI port, did he remove it in later versions?

There's a helpful schematic in the latest lsdj manual.

You shouldn't have to sacrifice a whole channel, stick it in a table with a groove of 6/6 and run that on step 1 of a lightly used channel.

What delays are you all using? I upped mine to 100 and it got rid of those errant clock messages seemingly.

Maybe this time you can attribute it

I've noticed the clock out bits happening whenever.

Ive done cc to a tap tempo that worked ok. Your device may vary.

I guess the bug is that it shouldnt send ANY clock byte in midiout? The clock start and stop without ticks wouldnt do anything as well, right?

Might be a placebo effect, according to Tim in the new version "The special bit and byte delays are no longer used. They are hardcoded to stable numbers"

Tim uploaded a fixed version of maxpat to handle this, can you download and try again?

Yea but i only want ONE rom and one sav and NO MENUS. When im live I just want to run the set without barely looking at the gameboy. For reliability, and data safety and ease of use, I cant speak higher of the derp.

Kinda what I meant.

Ands that's why LSDJ rules the live world big_smile
