i think the wav channel, although a bit loud, sounds great. Msot people tend to over do it with wav channel WAH WAH sounds. Reminds me of the older lsdj stuff! Like!

fine replace arduino with ATMEL CHIP. OR PIC. Or WHATEVER. But youll need to get the nes out of its 60hz mindset SOMEHOW.

Re: NES External Sync (54 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
why not have it spit out 8, and have an adurino fill out the rest? Tempo changes at fast tempos might suffer but how many tempo ramps would be do in their music??
here is a a lot of over my head stuff about serial communications off the controller port:

Topic: My Shruthi-1 Review (1 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
I recently had the chance to pick up an assembled unit from:
http://mutable-instruments.net/
And this might be my new favorite instrument. The unit is basically a broad overview of all my favorite types of synthesis with basic FM, harsh digital chip noise, cz-101 style PD, wavetables, and CEM filters. Those filters are as lush as some of the digital noise is harsh, and if you looking for a chippy performance synth to play along side your chip format sequences, you could hardly do better than this. Growly basses, deep kicks and percussion and chippy detuned leads and arps are all possible with the unit, it's so versatile you won't even notice its mono.
A+++ Go get one! Its radical!
