Why dont you just make daw music with chip type sounds then if you are worried so much about voicings? Most people target platforms they like sonically rather than ones that can voice their compositional aspirations.

If chip maestro only does notes and not fancy effects and that is broken, then whats the point? You might as well as get a retropak and do songs in a tracker.

Many chip dudes also do fancy jazz chords, but leaving out parts: http://www.howmusicworks.org/707/Playin … sing-Notes

The ear fills in the rest if your arrangement is fresh enuff

wayfar is by far the superior product in terms of features.. Both of them have their flaws. Both have questionable shipping policies. Chipsounds works fine for me tbh.

yes, wav would be lossless.. bandcamp allows upload of wavs, so its best to go with wav and let them handle any conversion

bandcamp REQUIRES high quality wav.

Its probably held up in customs if that is a out of country shipper, ive often had problems sending stuff to france.

I can get hold of lower spec carts with 1mb/32k but it would only be a dollar or so off the price.

I could also add a multi rom menu to the el cheapo to combine Roms.

Yes the boards fit 100% in an original dmg game shell

Id probably buy a bunch of the single rom carts cause I like the idea of dedicated simple roms. Even at this price it would be worth it over the bulky prom cars.
