Yea thats my point, the volcas are a miracle at 150 and that's entire because of the economy of scale. Korg could defo make the m8 for $199 easy id imagine.

The only way something would be cheaper AND well made would be if someone huge was making it like a Korg or Behringer. I think your options will always be between cheap and affordable, or expensive and boutqiue

what are the sample pages? I would prefer that left jumps to the top of the folder and right to the bottom

And auto play on a folder is rough when you have to scroll through 30 samples, plus having to hit start means you can preview it over a loop to hear how the sample sounds in context.

ID say if you are doing a vst, chipsounds has way more sound design of the dmg than MGB gives you.
