I also have a NSF and SPC importer that I should polish at one point. It finds DMC and BRR samples (respectively) and maps them to MIDI keys in chipsounds.

But since this really helps "taking other's samples" Its a bit hard to commercially justify its inclusion in there. Hence why I've kept it for me... I should release it for free as an a ad-don with a huge disclaimer lol.

Well you could also include a wav to DMC importer if it helps you think people are using their own samples big_smile

Wont they just patch this in the next system update?

The only way anything is cheating is if people dont have a good time at your shows.

except booze. Thats way more chiptune.

Im against throwing out a number, its whatever suits the material. I guess 100% authentic chiptune should be as close to 0DB as sane, but depending on the mixing and use of real instruments you should listen to your ears, and not your meter.

This book is pretty interesting take from a number of mastering pros on how they master and is worth checking out:

Did you also do the fix in the schematic  for the swapped cables on the midi in?
http://chipmusic.org/forums/post/190093/#p190093

Max should simply work, so id focus on your circuit.

I can confirm the audio stuff that is win only is actually win only. I think midi delay is also a windows only setting. The miditctrl in the betas are also win/osx/deb only.

-1 on the animation... doesnt really add much to editing... would rather see an oscilloscope of the resulting waveform if you gonna be fancy like that!

whoa this is the first i ever heard of this... anyone try the wireless gamelink feature to see if it works with lsdj?

you can stack commands in mapping to get key combos but if IRC its picky

for example
<MAP src="midi:all:0:cc:107" dst="/event/rshoulder/>
<MAP src="midi:all:0:cc:107" dst="/event/up" />

to go to the project screen from the song screen using cc 107.

Im about to do something similar in the next week or two with my setup (having another sequencer load up a piggy song and start a row in its dying seqeunces) so please share if you run into problems.
