I'm pretty late to the Android party but it looks like there could be some cool stuff out there if you know what to look for.  So far I've got:

ULoops -- The only "DAW" type program I've found so far
Link:  http://uloops.net/umc/index.php

SID Player -- 'nuf said
Link:  http://www.androidzoom.com/android_appl … _gowo.html

C64 Games Music Collection -- Streams rendered mp3's of sid music
Link:  http://www.androidzoom.com/android_appl … _fijs.html

Frodo 64 --  Emulator
Link:  http://www.appbrain.com/app/org.ab.c64

Also, searching for "midi" turns up some interesting stuff but nothing I've bothered to try yet...
Anybody got some favorites I should check out?

I've got a Korg SQ-8 you can pretty much have.  If you think it would be useful, PM me.

Any way to download on a mobile? No right click... I'm on an android phone if it matters.

EDIT:  Re-read your post... that's totally doable with 4 units + 4 carts + a sync box of some kind, I thought you were referring to 4 stereo outs from one unit.

------------------------------------------------------------

I'd love to see that happen but I'm guessing it's one of those "if you could do it someone would have by now" things.  There's only stereo out from the sound chip itself so there's nothing to break out, all the sound is already mixed when it gets to the analog stage... right?

Please correct me if I'm wrong 'cause that's one mod that I'd consider worth doing. smile

Hows the development going for this ROM?

Iam really intrested in this, also what program is being used to program this? HAM?

I believe smiker is porting it to C... or maybe he already did that?

It should be noted that in cases where the USB jack is built into the cartridge, a Mega Memory Cart can still be used to transfer the sav file from another non-usb cart (ems, non-usb bleepbloop cart) over to the cart with the USB jack and backed up to a computer from there. So, in effect, these carts can be used almost like a transferrer but with a few more steps involved.

That's a good idea! smile

Wooo!  Nashville!  I missed out on Chiptune Alliance but I won't miss this one!

I'm going to say no, because A. LGPT is based on LSDj and runs on handheld games consoles and is therefore quite similar to LSDj and not very fake, and B. the samples come from Amiga, which is also not very fake. sad Sorry!

Gotcha.  Hope I didn't offend anyone buy claiming LGPT is "fake" smile

Verdict = excellent.  Thank god this album is as long as it is... a tiny taste is not nearly enough!

Glad you liked it, man! Out of curiosity, how did it sound in your car? I tried to mix it to be a little car friendly. At least in my car. I tried to listen to each early mix of the album in my car before making any iterative changes. I kept at it until I didn't have to boost or cut any treble or bass in my car. That's how I knew I got it where I wanted it haha. But yeah, my car stereo is total garbage, so I am definitely curios to hear how it goes in other people's cars.

With my stereo, all the kicks hit HARD but the bass in general is well under control.  The vocals sound awesome cranked up and it doesn't get piercing at all.  In other words... KICK ASS.  smile

Downloaded this last nite and it's definitely got my attention!  Can't wait for the drive home from work so I can really blast it out.
