I had this happen on the GBboy Colour clones but never on a real gbc and that's all I use. Are you on the newest lsdj version? If you change the vibrato setting slightly does it still happen?

Derps are wonderful but keep in mind you can only have one rom at a time on the cart. With ems you can have several but they all share the same ram so you don't want lsdj on there along with other roms that have save functions.

Hmmm, you wanna trade this for an MPC Element?

Freaking sweet!

Coming back to this topic to say my nanoloop one cart is now working just fine on gameboy player. Not sure what I did differently but hey its all good!  smile

It most likely has something to do with your emulator.  Check all your sound settings, I guess?

The vomit didn't actually leave my mouth so you can count that as a win, I suppose.

So, a thing that blew my mind is that ALL of dropping a deuce by shitbird is nanoloop.

I have <3ed this album since it's release! Seriously, is all of it ONLY nanoloop? Jesus, that's incredible!!! Does anybody have any hints as to how to do all of that?

Yeah, shitbird is almost always nanoloop 1.xx with vocals on top.  He's really amazing at making crazy melodic progressions that don't "sound like nanoloop" at all!

Here's something I did with nano 1.5 (check out track 2 specifically) http://egrmusic.bandcamp.com/album/all-segments-lit

Will a japanese model work in a US GameCube?  The Japanese ones come in better colors and are about half the price.

Not according to this FAQ: http://www.gamefaqs.com/gamecube/915781 … faqs/22465

"The Boot Disc is NOT region-free. So if you bought a Game Boy Player
from Japan, you can only use the Boot Disc that came with it on a
Japanese GameCube, unless you have a mod switch installed or use a
Datel Freeloader. "

EDIT:  however, it seems that if you have a U.S. disc then you CAN use it to boot a Japanese GBPlayer (probably...)

Didrik, that's all really good advice!  Will a GBA player work without the startup disc?  Most of the auctions I see for them say "no disc - tested works!!!1one" or something similar.

You do have to have the disc to run the Gameboy Player.  I have one that I use quite a bit, in my opinion it's worth investing in just for the comfort and enjoyment on having lsdj/nanoloop on a big screen.  smile

Hey. Would I be able to make a ROM image using this utility?

I don't know enough about programming myself, but I've been wanting a way to grab the picture data off of a Game Boy Camera for ages.

Yes, this will let you grab your gb camera pictures.  smile
