This has been my setup for the last couple of months. Very happy with it.

I miss playing Might & Magic 6. I put so much time into that game.

Okay guys, for being a forum about music created with video-game consoles of all things there's far too little discussion about gaming going on.

Maybe that's because a person that uses consoles to make music isn't necessarily interested in video games. smile

"Published figures suggest that, in Australia, producing wheat and other grains results in:

at least 25 times more sentient animals being killed per kilogram of useable protein
more environmental damage, and
a great deal more animal cruelty than does farming red meat."

I think this is what he is referring to.

May I suggest that some of you guys use the Beastie Boys acapellas? They have 32 official ones here, perfect quality with BPM listed.

Would a series of live clips with text be sufficient?  Or does it need to be a "talking to the camera" type of deal?

Not sure, but Kickstarter School says this:

"If you’re like us, the first thing you do when visiting a project page is click play. A video is by far the best way to get a feel for the emotions, motivations, and character of a project. It’s a demonstration of effort and a good predictor of success. Projects with videos succeed at a much higher rate than those without (50% vs. 30%).

We know that making a video can be intimidating. Not many of us like being in front of a camera. We also know that making a video is a challenge worth taking on. It says you care enough about what you’re doing to put yourself out there. It's a small risk with a big reward."

I've tweeted @ him for you, but seriously, 3 days isn't a long wait for processing an order.

got my MA in PoliSci in december, its done all of shit for me.  so i'm either unemployed, or fully employed at kitsch-bent, depending on who you're asking...

I finished up an MSc in European Public Policy in October and it has got me nowhere either. It seems now I've got little chance of finding employment with that unless I put myself into major debt working free for at least a year in another country, and that's without any guarantee of a job at the end of that.

I've been unemployed for 6 months now. I spend about half my day sending off job applications.

In my spare time, I write a lot of free music (other styles than chiptune) and soundtrack work (but I've only secured one paid position this year so far, which didn't pay that well) and do a lot of free writing work (with very occasional, low pay). I've also started writing scripts to send away to the BBC. I just love to do creative things, and I wish I could make a living from it.

Any chance of you finding/setting up a UK store with the LSDJ designs? Shipping is more than the shirt.

I've decided just to open this up, so it's free download now. You can get it on Bandcamp, or download it from Soundcloud here. Enjoy!
