I play in all sorts of acts, Metroid Metal and Armcannon do VG rearrangements.  Danimal Cannon is solo stuff and chiptunes, but I have a prog-metal band (containing members of Armcannon) called Weaponex. 

Anyways, we have a 4 song EP coming out soon, but we made a video for one song.  Somehow it got posted on MetalSucks.net too?  So that's pretty legit. http://www.metalsucks.net/2011/08/18/un … ethervoid/

So uh watch us be incredibly cheesy and play shred metal.  I also mixed and mastered this if anyone cares.

cool proof of concept, but making pads to be triggered rather than on the sticks makes a million times more sense.  The sticks are "tethered" to a specific drum so you can't use both hands to do a snare drum fill for example.

Gwar has been able to really hop around genres amazingly.  Certain songs kind of suck, but there's a few that just fucking rock.  Yeah, the content is rather juvenile, but people just really want to have fun.

Thrash metal, punk, ska, epic wankrock, stoner metal, rock opera.  This is all Gwar.   The different genres hit on this song are great
