yes!!!! man that was such an epic set! love the drone pads especially. let there be darkness smile

finally a new episode. this one is about the powerful 8-channel editor ZX-7. This engine is one of the things that got me hooked on 1-bit music in the first place, though I've only made 1 song with it so far.

yeeehaw, finally! one of the best episodes yet, so it was definately worth the wait.

nope. use EightyOne for Windows or sz81 for linux.

Hi y'all, I made a (very short) music demo for the ZX81. It uses the Music Interpreter routine by Kelly A. Murta. Sound is generated via the VSYNC signal. To listen, enable VSYNC/Beeper sound in your emulator or turn up the volume on your TV when using real hardware. Requires 16k RAMpack.

Download here (.P format only)

just wanted to say i support the notion of having a CC0 option here on cm.org. i don't think i'd use it much though, 'cause i don't want my music being used for advertisement.

Jazz Jackrabbit's music is in XM format (just rename the .psm files accordingly), so ripping the sounds from there couldn't be simpler. I suspect it might be the same for other Epic productions as well. btw JJ rulez.

well, there aren't any new Dendy Chronicles episodes, and other recent videos from the guy haven't been translated yet.
so in the meantime you can watch some hilarious excerpts from the notorious "Dendy: The New Reality" tv show mentioned in the vids, with english subtitles:

ahh good ol' Dr. Timothey. glad to see he hasn't completely gone off-radar like so many other composers from that time.
