But the MMC Replay can also load CARTRIDGE images onto it and work as a cartridge of the type you wish (the more useful type being the freezer cartridges).
Does that mean you can make like a complete memory dump which you can later resume?
If so that's a good enough workaround for the lack of disk drive emulation.
Headphones out from Gameboy -> Line in on audio interface. Use an audio software of choice to record (e.g. the freeware Audacity). Export as .mp3.

The trick with the L command is using the vibration type. Change it from HF/\/ to the type you want. The best for Legatto is sine, cause it changes smoothly. :3
I don't think slide or pitch commands are affected by the vibrato waveform. HF/non-HF, yes.
Oh, and there's no sine. Saw, Triangle and Square.
