congratulations vinikourov

I didn't see that today. sad Pissed. Was Pinot in the road race today?

didn't see him. wikipedia says the french team will bourgain, gallopin, demare and chavanel, with chavanel in the time trial too. sad that VOECKLER my french hero was not at the olympics i suppose.

nice to see some more cycling fans at cm.o >:)

edit: i must say the BBC coverage of the race was appaling. no time gaps shown, no idea who any of the riders were, hugh porter the commentator getting everything wrong. and at the end the pundits and interviewers wouldn't shut up about how no one had helped team GB (well duuhhhhh, every country had a man in the break), even asking the winner why everyone was against GB - like he cares. and after that they switched focus and wouldn't shut up about vinikourov's drugs ban. would they have done the same for dave millar (or in other events, christine ohoruogu)? horrible

i just hope they aren't like this for every event we don't win.

edit 2: i feel really sorry for cancellara now... crashing in the world champs, crashing out of paris-roubaix breaking his shoulder, and now crashing in the olympic road race sad and they showed about a minute of him crying into someone's shoulder after the race was over. poor guy

fl studio "Go!" is far superior

I keep forgetting that is today. hmm

I used to be a bike racer myself, but I burned out really hard, so I can't really be arsed now. It's cool that Wiggins won the TdF, though.

Edit: Who's on the American team this year?

i saw TEJAY VAN GARDEREN attack today and i would guess DAVE ZABRISKIE would be in the time trial. not sure outside of that. america is not really a great cycling nation apart from the obvious exception. wink) but tejay looks like a bright hope for the future

congratulations vinikourov

You totally can! big_smile

If you have the sequencer running, it's in "play mode," where it will insert a note in real time wherever you press, but when the sequencer isn't running, it is in a tracking mode, where the input edits phrases.

The keyboard has a lot of button-press combinations built into it as dedicated keys. For instance:

  • Typing a note key in a phrase enters that exact note, as opposed to you having to scroll with the D pad to find it.

  • PgUp and PgDn go to the next or the previous instrument or table in those editors, maybe in the synth editor too. It pages up and down when in the songscreen. Think of this as having dedicated keys for B+UP/DOWN.

  • The arrow keys on the number pad are a dedicated key set for moving between parts of the interface. it will move you from the song screen to the chain screen to the phrase screen, et cetera. Think of this as a dedicated SELECT+DPAD

  • The inverse T directional keys function exactly like the D-pad.

There are probably more of these that I haven't figured out yet, since I'm still getting used to the keyboard myself.

I actually think this is a better use of the LSDj keyboard than playing live, anyway.

wow thank

that is a totally awesome feature, im so glad that lsdj can do that. it would make it easy for me and others to write lsdj music when we come from a pc tracking background (i guess)

greeeeeeat!!! thanks!

hey guys

can you track with the lsdj keyboard. i mean enter notes into your song and they stay in your song rather than just live playing notes?

thanks a lot smile
