the first 2 1/4 inch inputs are mono. You want one of these, with the 1/4 inch jacks going into 3/4 or 5/6

The chiptunes=win blog has been doing a regular feature for a while highlighting "dark chip" (not that it's trying to start some kind of subgenre) and it makes sense, the chipthrash thing seems to be pretty specific to a smaller number of artists whereas dark chip seems a more clear, useful term. A lot of people that don't follow chiptune don't even know that there are "dark"/non-happy sounding chip artists out there.

I don't think it really works as term either. Would be good to have a place to go though to find chipmusic that isn't just happy bleepybloopy four-on-the-floor melodic stuff (not that there is anything wrong with that side).
Also I think if chipthrash was a thing then sharing tips and tricks would kinda go against what it stood for.

Whenever I want to do something in triplets I just change the groove to:
0| 8
1| 8
2| 7
3| 1
Then just leave every fourth note of a phrase empty. Simple

Seriously, just avoid using E commands within the chains where possible, I never notice any clicks unless i'm creating an envelope in a table.

Never use the E command, just clone the instrument when you want to change the envelope.
