I've posted my Gameboy Micro on ebay again. The last winning bidder didnt contact me back or pay and wasted me a ton of time. Anyway, same things apply:
It's in great condition. I just got a different style and no longer need it. I'm not selling it with a charger, but in the description on ebay I've offered to get a charger from a local game store if you absolutely cannot find one on your own. This will mean an $8 increase in the final cost of the system, if you should need one included. Go check it out and bid!
My guess to why your mixer isn't affecting the low bass sound you want is that Behringer's EQ may be set for higher than you want. The deep bass frequencies you'll want to boost are 50-60 Hz. Some low end EQs can be set at 100-200Hz, which can add more of a low-mid type sound. The closer you get to 400-500Hz, the boxier things start to sound. If your low EQ is a shelf, then it should be boosting everything below it's setting too, in which case your problem may be better fixed with dynamics and changing your waveform like others have mentioned. The underclocked gameboy specifically for bass intrigues me. It would make writing more complicated, but it would make things sound so much better.
i love the olympics cause a lot of times i need a reason to not turn on my tv for like a month
It sure is overwhelming. I'd agree with that much. There are a select few things that I'd really like to see. I was interested in seeing the opening ceremonies, but they haven't really impressed me as much as I thought they would. I didn't really care for the literature or information age skits. They were just too long, and I lost interest. Interestingly enough, they chose to honor JK Rowling as a great British author, but not J.R.R Tolkien. I did love the Chariots of Fire bit with Rowan Atkinson though.
What in the hell is that? It looks like a baby with boobs. I guess I'm about to see it for myself. I'm on the west coast in the US at the moment, so the opening ceremonies are just starting for us.
This can be an "all things Olympics" thread. Feel free to post about anything involving the games.
I'm interested to know a few specific things, personally:
1) From our English members, what are some of the weird/strange things tourists say or do during this overabundance of people from all areas? I'm sure it has to be chaotic and quite comical.
2) What are you interested in or excited about watching?
3) Are any of you going to attend? Tell us your stories!
Seems like the Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade would be a choice venue for chip. But I'm not an authority on good venues in Oregon. If only you guys were coming in early August
I am visiting the Portland area and was wondering if anyone from here knows if there are any chip events happening sometime in the next 2 weeks. I looked in upcoming events and didn't see anything posted for Oregon. I also realize that not everything gets posted.
