Send me a physical CD plz sir kthx

i was just sayng that with a CLOSED tagging system it would be much more easy to get stuff organized and to find the stuff you was looking for.

es: i want to hear some 8bit metal but i cannot find the best 8bit metal song only because the artist has tagged it as "progressive brutal death metal". that's lame.

btw i agree with this

I play a lot of live gigs.
..and (when i haven't any planned show) i make some street busking out of pubs and clubs.
i have a small "fan-base" that follow me on facebook. smile

i really dont care about internet-popularity.
....i have neither made an official web release of my songs..
I just give free physical cds (cd-r) to EVRYONE i meet. big_smile

mm..
so cannot i repair it taking some spare parts from an atari 520 or something?

I'd prefer to repair it by my self...

Tonylight knows a guy in Milan (my city) who could (MAYBE) repair it.
But i should pay him and wait for much more that a month... hmm

I bought an Atari 1040 STe 4Megs some times ago.

It turns on but all i can see on my television screen are only some grey/green/black glitches.
The 'video-card' died, i think.

I've tried a scart cable and an antenna one connected to an old CRT television.
I've even tried it on an original atari BW screen.
...but them totally dont work.

How could i repair it?
could i buy another 1040 (not ste) for spare parts?
..or maybe some older (cheaper) version?

is the ram upgrading 'that' hard?
could i just buy another STe and put inside it the 4Mb from my died one?

damn... i'm so sad.. sad

got to do this when i'll find a broken (or cheap) SP. big_smile

i think that a closed tagging system would be better.

somethink just like this
http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_genres

with maybe some other "genres" like:
gameboy, c64, atari st, lsdj, Ableton, DS10, raw, post processed...

I usually say Chipmu.
