Yep, you can do it over midi using the maxpat tool that comes with the code.

Well I'll be damned. I'll need to look more into this.

If you set it to channel 10, it will work automatically with most general midi drums fwiw. You can really do whatever you want.

Is there an easy way to change the LSDJ MIDI out channels without having to re-flash the arduinoboy? I've left them at the default 1 through 4 because it's too much of a pain to update my main boy for channel changes.

Thanks Catskull!

Coincidentally, I'm trying to work out a way to connect multiple Game Boys to a single arduinoboy so I can control external MIDI gear live with more than one DMG. A related, but different problem...

Pretty cool!

Am I correct in thinking the DMG-07 multiplayer adaptor thing wouldn't be able to achieve this? If not, how come?

@UnexpectedBowtie: HeyHiHello, I've been messaging you as best I can through Facebook, and I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication this week, I have been *insanely* busy. I was actually just talking about this with someone earlier today, saying if I wasn't able to figure out where tf your DMG went, I would assemble a new one and re-ship *with international tracking this time*, totally out of my own pocket (I was planning on making a few more Gay Boys anyway, after noticing a bit more interest in them in both this thread and on Facebook). I'm either about to start shipping international orders with non-optional tracking (which unfortunately is fairly expensive), or stop doing international orders altogether, because this is like the third time an international order has gone missing and it's driving me crazy.

Do please let me know what is happening either way. I understand being busy, and I understand life getting in the way. I also understand issues with postage, but it's coming up for 5 months since I sent the cash, and communication has felt like pulling teeth at times. I also happen to be pretty busy wink and would just like some sort of action at this point rather than vague promises.

Yeah, Josh said he couldn't take PayPal which I thought was odd, so I worked out a direct bank transfer. Trusted him because he is part of the community, but at this point I am really displeased. The right thing to do would be to refund the money.

I bought this back in December and it still hasn't shown up sadly. At this point I don't think I'll ever get my money back either. hmm

I don't get it. What's it good for? I have DMG4 sync cable on one side and two jacks (input and output) on the other side.

Syncing Game Boys with analog gear without having to make a custom cable.

you see this?

doesn't have the mults built in for the outputs like the other box which could be a deal breaker
also seems a hell of a lot easier to loose.  i just ordered one so i'll post up a review when i get it.

Awesome! Loving all the sync options now.

Does this work with the Q MIDI command on LSDJ? (to send MIDI notes to external gear).

unless there were significant changes made vs the original LSDJMC2 design by Firestarer and also used by Low-gain, nope.

Thanks smile
