Ah, that would make sense. Thanks guys smile Jeeze, I really wanna make this DMG lol. My issues with the case I have now are that I can't get the acrylic off it and there's holes where I don't need them anymore from old mods.

I have the pieces soaking in rubbing alcohol right now, hopefully that dissolves the acrylic.

EDIT: He appears to be sorta active again, he has some recent posts on his blog!

The account doesn't seem like a chiptune guy though, which is why I thought it was weird...I was thinking he just took a photo of an artist's gameboy.

I really love it, trying to recreate it. Only issue is that the case I'm going to use was once painted white with acrylic and now after scratching most of it off, there's still some little pieces that I'm really upset about. (Subtle hint: trade cases please?)

Anyway, I just wanna know who made this/uses it if you've seen it...it's a really sick design.

Well for drums, yeah. But you can also take advantage of the pulse channels/noise channel on the second DMG for added bass or panned chorused pads or whatever to make your sound full.

Green looks beautiful. I'm guessing I'll get the same result by inverting Lsdj with a inverted backlight as I would with a biversion chip?

Appreciate the kind words and input!  I'm really excited to get my 2nd cart in and work with two DMG's.  may seem like child's play to some of the pro's around here but I'm definitely excited to get the ball rollin. my back lights and 2nd cart should be in any time now.  and I'm also playing a show with Math the Band in August! Stoked!

There you go man. You're on your way. Try listening to some more technically inclined artists and figure out tricks by ear from them smile Helps a lot!

I recommend Roboctopus, Treyfrey, Electric Children, and Kedromelon. They really know how to work LSDJ smile

But generative music based on how you interact with a game. I'd assume he's looking more for a personal sound library made custom for the game.

I'm interested...can you use music that I've already written?

No demo songs. The best way to learn is to start from scratch anyway, in my opinion smile There's also numerous tutorials to look for if you need somewhere to start. You can find those.
