No problem man! What you should try to do is to establish a clear bassline, and use those notes as the roots of the chords. Do you know any music theory? It might be beneficial to read up on the basics of chords and whatnot.
To start off with some simple melody making, you could try the pentatonic scale, which in the key of C is: C, D, E, G, A

Word. That's so stupid haha. I wouldn't even get over the guilt of calling someone else's music mine.

The chords have some clashing notes in them...sometimes that's okay, but it doesn't make much sense in the context. You could also work on building more of a direction with your melodies.
As far as sound goes, it's better than any of my Fami stuff ever was xD

Re: The Tried And Tested EP (83 replies, posted in Releases)
Some people will like any release. Some people like my first EP, which in all honesty is complete garbage. The point isn't that we expected more, it's that it's not impressive and nobody besides you really cares about your beginning stages. Here's an example for you:
My First LSDJ song: http://frostbyte1.bandcamp.com/track/xrk
This is really crappy.
Something more recent: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Public/D w=72b72dcb
Which one do you think will give me a better name?
