Analog just gave his opinion, disguised as a suggestion.

This is great.

A very easy one: marking chains in the song screen (like pressing B+B+B on LSDJ). Damn useful for those who only perform in live mode.

Guys,

I am already putting the 505 on MIDI SYNC mode. And I press the PLAY/STOP button so it gets ready for receive data from the midi master device (that is, DMG/LSDJ).

The 505 does start with lsdj start. At least, mine does.

It is weird because looks like I did the exact same thing as you. And to make my earlier comments clearer, what I did to test the 505 was syncing it to the macbook (ableton live as midi master). The 505 syncs to the macbook without a problem.

midiout doesnt send clock sync. You need Lsdj master.

Tried master mode as well, prof.

Is there some setting in the 505 itself? I'm still fresh at roland DM's.

Did you set the right channel on the 505?
Do you want to sent note data or clock sync..

It worked fine with mine tho.

I just want to send clock sync. Shouldn't it be just "pressing play on lsdj" with midiout?

Or do I have to send a midi note to a specific midi channel?

I don't understand why people care so much about naming instruments. I just listen to then or look at the sample name.

But saving/loading a badasskick.pig file... that's another history.

in this order of preference:
- instruments/table import/export
- midi on dingoo
- soundwave visualization

Ok, so I updated the arduino code and LSDJ is sending midi notes to my computer with no issues. But yesterday I tried to send midi sync to my TR-505, with no success. The 505 syncs to the computer without a problem, but not with the Game Boy.

LSDJ is in midiout mode, and it even has an instrument for sending midi data. Again, the computer accepts it, but 505 doesn't.

Is there any reason for that?

And also, my dream in both LGPT and LSDJ would be import/export instruments and tables.

EDIT: double post.

Plus 2 for select column.

Amazing, nitro. Gonna try this later at home. Great work as always.
