Ideas originate from the environment. Environments differ. Interaction leads to exchange. Then we take distance. Back to our environments.

Music patterns traveled back and forward between Brazil and Norway until they were ready.

Then, they started living parallel lifes, being in two places at once.

They became jams, went through effects, editing and got burned in memory.

Contributors, ideas, worlds, apart. Result: parallel.

Listening to this on a grey, rainy São Paulo morning.

All I see is is monochromatic, cold concrete drenched in acid water.

Thank you Θ.

None of the POs keep patterns after battery removal.

The PO-12 does keep them. I let it entrr standby mode, removed the batteries, waited for one hour and when I put the batteries back the patterns were all there.

Sounds like you are running 2.7.7. I noticed that problem and oliver fixed it with the 2.7.8 update.

Dear James, Sir.

You are my hero!

Now it works like a charm. Including Nanoloop one: just needed a good ol' update (and the chrome extension works great too).

I gotta say Nanoloop and PO-12 is a great, great setup. They even look like each other: one pattern with 16 steps blinking like it's christmas time.

lol

I have built a link cable for syncing Nanoloop and PO-12, and it works good, except for the fact that the PO-12 starts with some delay, regarding the Game Boy.

Nanoloop is master and PO-12 is slave. I set the PO-12 on SY02, it stays armed and starts playing when I press start on the Game Boy. But the PO-12 only starts playing when Nanoloop is on its second step. The sync is steady, but they start on different time. I've tested on both GBA, GBA SP and GB with Nanoloop One.

Anyone had this problem? Could this be a cable issue?

I believe I tried that too. Don't have my po12 with me right now, gonna try that later. Thanks smile

Just found this info in some forum: "I just confirmed that PO pattern changes are persisted only when it goes to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity. If you remove the battery before that all changes are lost." -- I guess I was too anxious to wait for it to enter standby mode ans just kept removing the batteries. neutral

Got you man! At least it makes some sense now...

This is what I thought, when I saw there was no socumentation on saving patterns. It does save automatically when I change a pattern and then load it again while it's powered on. But when I remove the batteries, they're all gone and all I hear are the factory loops back again. Maybe there's an issue with the memory bank on my unit?

I look incredibly stupid asking this, but how do you save patterns on the PO-12? Just got mine today and managed to do all its basic stuff except for saving the patterns I created. The manual mentions only how to load and delete a pattern, and I couldn't neither find anything on this on the web.

Thank you so much guys!

dustfilledhobo, your live video is great and so is your music.

Imaginary, which kind of tapes do you collect? I'm mostly on horror/sci-fi/action flix from the 80's and early 90's. And of course, all kind of crap for the Riviera videos.

Hi there,

Not exactly the scope of cm.o, but I thought this might interest some VHS tapeheads here. I have a Youtube channel called Riviera video. It is influenced by TV Pirata (an 80's Brazilian anarchic TV show), Everything is Terrible and by my own TV mixtapes I used to do for friends in the early 90's.

Most of the content is in Portuguese, but there is also some edits based on English tapes as well.
