Once in Brazil chipmusic events are almost non-existant (except for the ones Chippanze produces), I always end up performing at experimental/noise/ambient events and I get the best audience response on these venues. From times to times I also perform on games/anime/general geek events (always for the money) and the response is the worst because those people are all morons.

glad you like this, thank you all for the kind words heart

People talking Japan in a chipmusic forum and no one talks Cafe La Siesta in Kyoto?

Srsly.

Also, if you like cats, don't miss going to one of the many cat cafes in Tokyo. I didn't go to the fancy ones (those who always appear on travel guides), but instead I went to a small one where they only get street, alley cats who have been beaten and mistreated. Some of the poor creatures were even mutilated. And japanese people can even adopt them, it's pretty great. Sadly I can't remember the name of the cafe.

After experimenting syncing between Nanoloop 2.7 and PO-12 on Quanta, and inspired by Cheapshot´s latest releases, I spent a free saturday morning recording a live set influenced by techno, house and Detroit electro. Here´s the result, hope you dig it.

I´m just finishing Snow Crash and it´s fucking awesome.

And I think it´s way better to discuss literature than Pokemon Go.

been waiting for this!

also, check the cool SHRIMPS/Riviera Video video for Human Nature. In all early 90´s sexy glory.

Would you be able to get a quote on shipping for the assembled Piggy to MIDI to Taiwan and send me a PM?

You should send me a PM with your city and zip code.

Hi there, decided to get rid of unused stuff. So I´m selling a couple of backup Nanoloop carts and also two Piggy>MIDI devices for GP2X (one assembled, one with parts for assembling) and also an arduinoboy. Pics and prices below. Please mind these items will be shipped from Brazil. If shipping gets too expensive we´ll workout a different price for the items, who knows.

Nanoloop 1.7 - USD 25

Nanoloop 2.7 (gameboy micro not included smile). Grab this boy and you´ll have the backup source files for my album "Sinapse". How cool is that? smile
Price: USD 35 [RESERVED]

Arduinoboy, built by Anthony Gilberti (scienceguy). It has the wire fix for midi out, and is flashed with trash80´s code for LSDJ midi out mode. It´s missing the little black plastic thingy in the button, but it´s working 100%.
Price: USD 45

Piggy>MIDI device (assembled): USD 45
Piggy>MIDI device (for assembly): USD 30

Some artists make incredibly good things with free VSTi's. Just go check minusbaby music for example.

Stop whining and go learn sound synthesis. No plugin will spoon feed you. Unless you're a weaksauce at electronic music.

I vote for this and also reborning drum 'n bass and calling it BBM (broken beats music) and also reborning acid house and calling it CBM (crazy bass music) and also reborning uk garage and calling it PTM (piggy tracker music).

@PULSELOOPER – ah sorry, i thought you were being facetious :~)

but i agree with sandneil. it's certainly doable, although new features aren't our top priority yet. if you want to make a feature request, the best place to do it is on the github issue tracker, since in n months we aren't likely to remember that thing someone said on that forum thread that one time.

no problem, mate wink

if I think of some more realistic requests, I'll hit you guys @ github.
