fuck man, you got too many songs.
it would be nice to see people use the music page here more and upload some good musics.
Yeah, the next big thing is to redo the front page, that will push more people into the music section
2 years later, it's finally there. sorry for the long wait baby
Hes saying thats when the midi line is shared, mGB is responding to other channels, ie being interfered by other instruments/channels data.
Interesting, sounds like a bug. Think I found it. Try this version of the code: http://trash80.net/junkfood/Arduinoboy1_2_2.zip
let me know if it works.
No, but I don't need to.
BUMP.
Listen. Buy. Consume. Die.
No bumping.
you could also just genereate the waveform with chorus and just use the prerendered wave with loop points. if piggy is the end target this is the best solution.
reminds me of a synth organ. so i'd use 2 saw waves, one that is a bit quieter and pitched 1 octave and 5 semi tones higher (+17) ... also add a chorus or more detuned oscillators to give it a chorus effect.
Depending on the mode of the arduinoboy. if its in any mode other than midi out from lsdj or mGB mode, they should blink to midi sync. in mGB mode each led represents a midi channel (1-4)
Oh you might also want to check your cable wiring on the gameboy port, since I'm guessing you dont have leds to indicate midi is actually working. You could also use the arduino serial monitor to see if its getting data (it would print garbage of course)
Yeah I don't know. if you tried flipping the wires on the midi jack, tried flipping / disabling the diode, then its either the code that is running, the midi cable or host midi device, or the 6n138.
I've used plenty of the pro minis for various projects so I know its not that, if it is indeed the 16mhz/5v version.

you can try removing the diode. if its backwards it will not work. other then that its either the 6n138 or the wires on the midi jack.
It's a arduino Pro Mini.
But the strange thing is. Tx0 is connected to the midi out, and that works just fine...
I'll see if removing the diode works...-edit-
No beans...
3.3volt or the 5volt pro mini?
