As usual I'm the last one to notice and after poking my host I fear the worst as they removed all traces without notice. I'll update after I get in touch with them but it's pretty safe to say it's game over after 10 years. The fact that google doesn't even list 2a03.org anymore makes me wonder how long it has been down now. But yes, in reply, the website was only there for reminiscent purposes since the first fallout.

It's been a good run, Snowrobot. I'd like to thank you and Nullsleep for keeping the site up for as long as you did. Wonderful memories were had there.

You might want to check out the Famitracker forums for more information. I don't see many people on CM.O using VRC7, at least not effectively.

My thoughts on the chipmusic community:

It's far more diverse than you are alluding to.

It is also much MUCH bigger than just this forum. I mean how much do you know about the Japanese MML scene or the Russian ZX scene or the gigs content on mod archive?

My point exactly. The gems are hidden deep within.

My thoughts on the chipmusic community:

It's far more diverse than you are alluding to. It reaches far deeper into electronic realms, various genres of music and coding scenes. Popular chipmusic and this website are only the tip of the iceberg to its true form. If your chip life cycle dies as fast as you stumbled upon it, I just hope you had a good time and learnt a thing or two.

"January, 2013, Ipanema; As I sit here now, trying to recall the events from 30 years ago, in that spring of '83, that led to my journey into the darkness of an unanswered love. A darkness so sweet and captivating, I wished never to return. The memories, though vague at best, are trapped, haunting the deep recesses of my mind. This is what they sound like..."

Played a bunch of WIPs from my first album in front of roughly 15 people, most of them my friends and the rest were the staff of the bar. Huge venue and it felt empty as hell. Got wasted on free beer and then drank a pint of vodka with a friend in the bathroom. Ended up screaming "Fuck Ozzy Osborn" and "Worship Satan" a few time through out my set, as there was an Ozzy Osborn tribute show at the bar connected to the one I was playing in. Went outside for a smoke and then got caught with the leftover vodka in my pocket. Got black listed from my own show. Snuck in from the back to pack my shit and then left with out getting paid.
