Also, can't stand this guy. I always try to keep it civil and he keeps giving me more reasons to rage. As if general douchebaggery wasn't enough, he goes and intimidates someone close to me a few months ago, then pulls this endangering lives shit.
Five bucks says someone's gonna get a "Hey I'm sorry but did I do anything to upset you please let me know let's talk it out" message in response to this thread. I'll just say publicly: don't make it me. That shit is gonna be deleted from my Inbox without me even reading it.
Either that or a "lol I was just joking you guys" message.

I agree completely with this. I loathe NUBY lights, and it's impossible to see what you're doing live without some sort of light on there.
Prosound is absolutely necessary for me; recordings without them sound absolutely abysmal with all that hiss underlying everything. It's extemely noticeable, that noise.
[soapbox]Also, I think that too often (and this doesn't apply to EVERYONE, just a few people) people's aversion to prosounding is an immature reaction to immature behavior. There's a misguided assumption that anyone actually thinks prosound will improve the quality of their music as opposed to the quality of the sound.
No one really thinks that, but people who assume that anyone feels that way tends to go insane with offense at the very thought...[/soapbox]

I'm fortunate in that I have friends who enjoy making these mods, and so they'll do them for me for either very cheap, or gratitude + beer.
In my personal opinion, $50 is the perfect price for a backlit/prosound modded DMG. Anything between $45 - $70 seems fair to me.
