Game Boys are convenient, and LSDJ is my program of choice, so I hope I don't come across as harsh when I say: effing hell, there are a bajillion more platforms and programs than what's on the Game Boy, and any beginner should be told that at the very least...

No offense y'all....

Was it obnoxious?  Maybe.

I don't think what you did was obnoxious, not at all. You allowed the content to drive your promotion, rather than shoving it down people's throats. That's the way to go.

Wow, now that is kicking things off RIGHT. Rico Zerone, Spamtron, PlainFlavored and especially linde as your launch releases? Kudos and congratulations to y'all, I'm looking forward to listening to this stuff.

I'd suggest that a catalog like that makes people want to work with you ASAP.

Blip Festival: Where middle class children can get treated like lower class children for the first time.

HFzbih;oisdxhuvgof;ivhug LOL YES

CHROMACLE MUSIC. CHROMACLE MUSIC. CHROMACLE MUSIC.

CHROMACLE MUSIC.

I can say from experience a few years back (not this year) that it is extremely difficult for the Blip Festival team to find an ideal venue for the event considering the shifting status and circumstances small teams of music curators and nonprofit art spaces face every year. Bit Shifter summed it all up quite nicely.

Disclaimer: I was not on the team this year, so my perspective is that of someone who volunteered years ago. I can only imagine what things are like now, as the entire community and festival grows and grows. I am not speaking for anyone who worked on things this year.

Personally, I think the team of curators did a fantastic job this year despite issues beyond their control. This was my fourth Blip Festival and possibly the best one I've attended as a fan. I was blown away in so many ways. Unreal unreal unreal.

I've got one without a screen protector, an unmodded original "Grey Boy" I could spare. Feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail ([email protected]) with an offer; I accept trades too.

Iron Curtain's mom is on this album.

Don't ask me how I know...
