I recall that the Pokemon Pinball game also had PCM samples, as well as a built in rumble!

Me too. I wish there was just a pcb option as well.

According to the thread, you will be able to purchase PCBs only, should you choose.

FWIW, if anyone has 1-3 SIDs available for sale, I would be interested in that too.

Looking for a set of four SID chips. If anyone has some set aside for a DIY project you're never going to get to, let me take them off your hands. Located in toronto.

Any interest in trades of any sort?

Somebody buy that sammichSID. I'd be tempted to get it as a backup if I had the spare cash around. It's so much more than a chiptune synth, it's a hugely powerful little box.

Kinda interested in the Shruthi, but the price seems a bit high? Unless I did a currency conversion wrong, that's even more than what the kit+case goes for new from Mutable.

Domu, I'd actually be interested in building it for you if you're serious about that. I'm no expert synth builder but I do have a successful sammichSID build under my belt already. Honestly, it was so fun to build I wanted to build a second just for fun, was probably going to sell it, but if you're willing to pay for my services, that works just fine too.

PM me with details.

Domu has been listing his as up for trade for ages now, you might get lucky with something he wants.

Any interest in Casio SK gear, or a KMI QuNeo for the Sammich kit? Or, you know, any indication of what you might be interested in? I feel like you're just teasing us. wink

What's going on with the Korg pricing? You're charging more than that lot costs new.

Volca Beats: $150
Volca Bass: $150
Monotron Duo: $40
Monotron Delay: $40
Monotribe: $165

Total: $495

Just want to say that the S12 is a fine, fine guitar. I have one and it was pretty much the only musical instrument I didn't sell when I executed a trans-oceanic move a few years ago.

The sammichSID is the far superior SID synth IMHO; you're making the right choice.

Unfortunately, the Monotribe isn't the best choice for external filtering. It only passes an external signal through when the synthesizer's gate is open (when you're playing a note). There's some kind of workaround that tunes the synth past audible range or something, but it doesn't sound perfect. Other than that, you're looking at internal modifications.

Best bet is to just go out and buy a Monotron. Slightly noisier, but otherwise the same filter circuit and much better suited for use as an effect.

I have a delay and the original, but no duo. Any interest at all?

yeah this has a spring reverb in it - and a drum machine - the only thing that doesnt work too great is some of the keys crunch audibly in the audio signal... i suspect it just needs cleaning

I always thought it was fun to give my organ a swift kick and make the spring reverb rumble smile
