There is a whole ordeal about how that Mother/Earthbound was in fact am official unrelease, not a pirate sub. They should have released that instead of a turd called Startropics. wink

It is the year of our lord 2012 AD, and McDonalds is the biggest sponsor of the Olympic Games.

I think we've finally reached the point where satire doesn't need a punchline.

After what was a US prime time replay of the swimming events, not less than six commercials featuring the gold medal winner were aired, clearly prepared before the games began.

At the end of the broadcast was a message reminding that the broadcast belongs to the IOC, proving beyond any doubt that all that world peace though sport stuff is tripe and the only point of the games is to make money.

I prefer the winter games, though there are a few things that you can't watch on TV until another 4 years go by, that's what I look for.

Sorry to necro: if anybody's still hung up on this subject, have a look at points 3-5 in this:

http://diymusician.cdbaby.com/2012/07/t … live-show/

tl;dr version-

3. Rearrange your tunes to go with the gig

4. A live gig is about meeting you in person, not about showing off your music

5. Visuals matter, what people see you doing should change from song to song.

Don't forget that the Famicom spec is based on an arcade board, so mass production had something to do with it... It's 1983 and we have all these 2a03s and no demand for games in the US, let's make a home computer out of them.

All speculation.

I think you mean music.

Quitting is easy, I quit every night.

Then the next day I start again.

I'm waiting for that thread to happen if it hasn't already. Are all music composition forums filled with these kinds of threads?

It would make sense... considering the theme of the forum is Music Composition...

I was curious to see if the guitar forums I sometimes visit (with technical questions) have threads about how to play The Blues...

First page on Google was a lot of howto pages but no forums.

"How to drop the bass" didn't have any lesson pages at all, most of them were silly memes. I know there are bassdrop tutorials out there...

The truth is, though, like playing The Blues, dropping the bass is a feeling. You can know *what* to do, but you can't get good at it unless you practice doing it, a lot, preferably with company.

Ant1 has ten song albums that are 15 minute listens, doesn't get any shorter than that...

Why can't there be more things like this?

ant1 had something like 24 releases a year or two ago...

I declare this the soundtrack to the "How long should you work on a song" thread.

Did you grow up on Schaumberg; do you wish you had grown up in in someplace like Lake Forest, Crystal Lake, or Round Lake Beach?

This guy didn't make the song or the video

Seriously, though, does the op have a particular style in mind that he can't replicate himself?
