I'm pretty sure anyone who watches the video now with know its an Anamanaguchi song now, and as of now I believe that's the only place this song is posted so their getting recognized for it lol. I don't think anything can be done legally without tons of $$$

Nah. We got a whole nother compilation for that.

omg plz say it isn't true

I don't want it too corny though. I did like the idea of a Christmas tree with a bunch of a chipware around it. Or something else to that effect (I dunno what to do if this has more than just Christmas)
But I do like the art now too. I think it could have the tracklist on it still. smile

Edit: actually snesei, it'd be awesome to have a real photo of an eggnog carton with with the album name and something like a soundchip or a dmg/nes/controller on it.

I might try to do a mock up of what's in my mind, but I m no pro or anything.

If people like the current art I'm fine with it. I just wanted something sexy like a sillouette of santa on his slay over the moon with a neighborhood underneath. Or a picture of a Christmas tree with a bunch of dmgs, NESs, etc. underneath with bows and shiz looking like presents. I was picturing something that was mad Christmassy smile

But I am one guy, if people like it the way it is, who am I to argue?

I agree, needs moar egg nog

Same here. As it is undeniably true that this piece has been, let's say, "heavily inspired" on Anamanaguchi's track, there is absolutely no grounds for legal action, at all.

But the cheaptoon sk3n3 has to get up in hemorrhoidal pain as usual.
Timberland plain ripped off a tune, that's totally different.

Its the same exact melodies, just a few steps down.

dude I'm feeling the same lately, I've been working on this one track and I cant get anywhere with it. Like i dont even wanna pick up my gameboy because I think I wont come up with anything. I need to get outta that groove real soon, maybe pick up the guitar or piano and start writing on that.

Have you done anything about it? Hurry up! Contact the guy saying you're interested. Then, ask for his address to come view it. After you have the address, ask him to meet in public instead, as it'd be probably be easier. Somewhere like Starbucks. Go with a friend. Carry either a voice recorder or videocamera. Look at the device and read the serial number. If it matches up (and make sure it matches up) have your friend make a call. Start recording. Ask him "Do you know this handheld console is stolen?" if he admits he knows it's stolen, but denies he stole it, he's still breaking the law. If he makes a run for it, follow him, but keep your distance. Hopefully, even if you lose him, you'll have his address.

Or simply phone the police.

you keep forgetting dude, this is the internet.

if there's no way to do it from the safety of your computer screen, then there's no way to do it at all.

I live by that statement when it comes to Detroit. I don't play around with that shit, but I did go look at it with some friends and it wasn't mine. It was definitely stolen though because he offered to sell to me for $30
