Bullshit. It's much better than a backlit Original Game Boy, in my opinion. It's able to handle more processes - in LSDJ, complex tables and high BMPs are handled quite easily with them. My only issue is practicality in live setups. I like being able to fade out tracks on the unit itself. This can be difficult on the SP. And needing the extra headphone adapter is a bastard sometimes.

I'd highly recommend trying it, I prefer the wave and noise channel on SPs.

All people hoping to stay in a 12 room together, send me a PM with your full name reservation and I'll contact BBP and ask if they can put us all in the same room.

I'd also be interested. Music can be heard www.edwardshallow.bandcamp.com

Message me if you think something in a similar style could suit.

Yeah, forgot to ask who is doing the visuals for my set. If it's RvsS, I can get footage to them before the show okay. If it's you, LastKnight, what videomixer are you using? I have customised glitchNES files, a galleryNES story and a logoNES file that works well when chroma keyed. Otherwise, I have .mov loops that I could email you a link to?

What stuff are you intending to be busting out for visuals in general?

Do you have any of your music online to listen to?

What other forums were you on, and what was your user-name there?

Is there any reason you don't declare your Location?

my gripe may be unfounded, but your overzealous posting, unoriginal name and post content are something that i'm sure set off alarm bells in more than one person on here's mind.

i'm not 'laying in', i'm merely proposing you have a bit more patience in responses from a community that doesn't know you as an artist or a person in the slightest.

having a better foot on the ladder of the community, or having previous knowledge of being part of compilation releases, may look much better for you. seemingly barging in saying "send me your music and make me an album cover for this idea i have for a 15 minute compilation!" doesn't feel right to me. but that may just be me. personally, i think it pisses over the releases of breakcore artists to throw something together so 'slap dash'.

i wouldn't say brkcorekid has existed on this forum long enough to be bumping anything, quite frankly.

I'm the self professed child of breakcore.

Oh, wait.

This is astoundingly positive.

Don Miller and Neil Baldwin, I'm sorry to say, you're not allowed to fly in a plane together. If it crashes, and we lose you both, we might have to get Shigsy to send some of his top designers over to compensate.

Last time I had a retort to the Game Boy boot-up tone...

"PLAY SONIC!"

"Well, if you're referring to Sonic the Hedgehog, this is a Nintendo Game Boy, and there was never a Sonic game released on this console. I would have accepted 'Play Zelda' or 'Play Mario', however. But nice attempt."

The entire soundtrack is golden, but this always stands out for me.

"Yeah, Johnny, shall we play something from Pablo Honey?"

"Go get fucked, Thom."

Please them, sure, but your music shouldn't be compromised in doing so.

Is that Chip to the New World or the Old World?

If I were playing a goth club show, it may encourage me to experiment with dark trance, but I wouldn't cater an entire show to it. I rarely play my 5 minute + tracks live and limit my slow tracks (anything under 120bpm) to no more than 2 per show, as I know they can be hard to digest in a live setting. I know I hate it when artists over saturate their sets with slow songs live, much prefer listening to them when time is not of the essence.

(i.e. Fuck double time breakdowns that last 10 minutes and fuck post-rock shows in general).
