So I came across this badass trick called "water marbling" seen it used to paint fingernails other other random applications. So I thought it would be cool to try it on a gameboy or gameboy screens. I only have a spare screen ATM so I started with that. I haven't perfected it yet. I can't quite figure out how to get a nice clean application but here's a few of my tests.

Test 1: didn't turn out very good at all. Peeled a lot of it off by accident.

Test 2: better it still kinda fucked it up

Test 2 on purple gameboy: jut wanted to see how it would look.

Just wanted to see what you guys think and see if anyone has any experience doing water marbling that might have any tips.

I'll take it for $40 plus shipping, if no one else has, and I can pay via PayPal within the next few days. Just hit me up man with a PM or email me at [email protected]. I really want this thing lol been wanting to add a painted clearboy to my collection for awhile now.

I'd say it's worth roughly around 100$ give or take around 20$

Damn! That's some of the dirtiest chip I've ever laid ears on, and I fucking love it! I want more! What exactly would you call this? Also is the song called Devil Nug or Tough Shit?

There's a good place on the back of gameboy pockets next to the batteries on the back but it makes it hard to place flat in a table.

That's why I didn't do it, I wanted it to lay flat on a table. I might just keep it internally prosounded though.

Gotcha I've should've known that lol. I've seen a few people put them on the side the bottom left corner. Close to the "typical" place just on the side.

Woohoo!!! Thanks man. Let's start with one of my old gameboys finally complete with backlight and a prosound mod. Originally was going to put the prosound mod in the typical spot then decided against it. I like it where it is better.

I like the prosound placement... My MGB is internally prosounded, but I kinda want to give it an 1/8 prosound. I don't think it will fit in the 'typical' spot, but this might work.

I second the orange part mentioned here.

Black would be awesome. And I'm sure clears would sale. People are getting more into case lighting now.

Wait so is the grey case with grey buttons and screen a blip only thing? How many we're made? Is it some kind of limited release type thing?

I'm just excited to get my hands on that damn case. I have no idea what I'm going to do to it but it'll be cool. Maybe I'll flock it in black

Friend of mine bought one of you awesome new cases at blip for me. Can't wait to get my hands on it!!

Post some pics when you're done man I wanna see what you're doing light wise. Case lighting fascinates me. smile

Eventide City (zone 3) is by far my favortite out of all of them. It's filled with Sonic goodness. And that raw guitar through out is perfect. It's a shame it's so short buy I could listen to it over and over. Over all awesome tracks but 3 is the best and is, in my opinion, the most legit chip sounding song out of all of them on the album. The rest sound to easily replicated with a simple keyboard needs to be a little more raw sounding. Get ahold of lsdj and milky tracker and play with one of them. Awesome songs though man. Definelty showing my buddy this album when I see him next. smile
