Thanks PULSELOOPER! That's right, both VA1 motherboards with CCAM. :]

I've got a queastion for anyone using a GenMDM with a standalone MIDI keyboard (i.e without using a computer).

Do you get polyphony when you play? Is there a MIDI CC to turn on/off polyphony?

Thanks!

Radix! heart I'm really inspired by his work.

I also love kookoo.xm, the collab with loonie. I didn't know that was also a demo soundtrack - thanks 4mat.
Feng Shui Schematics is also a nice chilled one from 2010.
Dragon Atlas: A more recent addition (2013) is  - that one gets me every time I listen to it - classic Radix melodies and arps.

Sounds awesome, dude! And that artwork is something else. big_smile

No one?! OK!

Hi guys,

This might be a long shot, but does anyone still have a working, original USB only Sega Genesis/Mega Drive flash cartridge made by krikzz?

I have no need for an SD card and USB programming is much less hassle for me.

I don't think the new cartridges support flashing via USB as far as I can tell.

I'm looking to pay $45 AUD plus postage and don't need a cartridge shell with it.

Thanks!

Thanks for listening, guys!

Yeah, the YMU762 is a nice chip. I'd like to make some more music with it in the future.

I've just released a compilation album 'Sonic Traces' on Perelandra Records. It features both Sega Megadrive / Genesis and Gameboy (LSDJ) tracks.

Listen and download for free here!

Quote from bandcamp:

A compilation of all my finished and semi-finished chipmusic created from 2009 until around 2011. I thought it was time to put it all in one place for easy download and listening, especially as some was lost when 8-Bit Collective shutdown.

Included in the download are some notes including a few details about the creation of each track. TFM Music Maker source files for some tracks are also available upon request.

Happy listening and thanks for your support!

Hi eclipsemod! Welcome to chipmusic.org! I'm very happy that you're interested in FM synthesis (esp. the YM2612) - there are a growing number of us here. :]

What I do in VGM Music Maker to stop the note is either use a note off (press the "1" key to put a note off) or just set the volume to "01" then note off for instruments with a long release. I've never tried using the EC1 command. Perhaps someone else can tell you if that works for them.

Also, I think the "frame" may just mean the row of the pattern? I could be wrong, but otherwise it wouldn't make sense to reference that in the help file.

I hope this helps! Have fun! big_smile

Oh sweet! Ace work, man.

In the range of 3-12 completed songs each year at the moment.
