I don't get it. What is he doing there? Just muting tracks from ableton and dancing?

Re: Bastl Instruments (2 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
Hi
Bastl instruments came out from Standuino (that was the first line of their instruments)
http://www.standuino.eu/devices/instruments/#
I just have frauAngelico (drummer), microGranny (granular sampler) and Pi (?)
I have also Trinity Drum, but without sequencer
feels the same as ver.1 (frauAngelico) to me
I tested their new instrument two weeks ago, New line of granular sampler (replacing microGranny)
This one will kick your ass! Especially granule synchronization to midiclock!
Check it here:

I think you have to get Midibastl also to convert clock (roland Sync24/nanoloop/korg Volca) for bastl instruments

bye

Re: Anyone else experience this? How to get over it? (31 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I just start to work on another part from a scratch.
This could became a new song, or continuation of that song.
Than I try to link this parts together if fits...
I am working a long time on my songs, months, but waiting it out is not usefull for this part of work
waiting it out is good for rewriting patterns, rearanging and finalization of whole song
or for checking the whole construction of song (made from smaller parts)

Re: Getting a good mix (8 replies, posted in LittleGPTracker)
most of the time I just set volume of instruments higher and higher, than I add some new and find, that maximum is not enough for it, so I have to set other instruments lower...
Some channel mixer would be great.

Re: What are you favourite programs for making music? (64 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Try piggy
and check this for free VST / DAWs
http://bedroomproducersblog.com/free-vst-plugins/
My favorites would have to be LSDJ and Famitracker
I've tried MilkyTracker a while ago but I couldn't figure it out but I do want to revisit it sometime soonI want to try more trackers and just try some DAWs to see what I like and don't like but idk where to start
(Not a fan of FL studio, I've tried it a few times and decided it wasn't for my taste)

Re: What are you favourite programs for making music? (64 replies, posted in General Discussion)
1. Piggy for most of the work
2. Soundforge for sample editing / stereo recording
3. Audition / Cool edit pro for multitracking / most of other work or band recordings
4. LSDJ for fun
5. Music assembler (C64) for fun

It works, but it glitches. I tried to change audiobuffersize in config, but it seem that it has no effect...

Sure I can. I'm just familiar with piggy, so that's why I'm asking.

Re: Midi as mapping source in LGPT (16 replies, posted in LittleGPTracker)
I thought about this and I realised, that triggering with keyboard should work fine.
so.
It could be done this way:
RShoulder + down arrow on song screen should open this mapping screen for keyboard keys
you could change triggering key by doublepressing A button on nonempty chain
or (better) with directly tapping a keyboard key you'd like to use as trigger (in song play mode)
only keys mapped to normal piggy navigating buttons should't be selected here (it will work as expected - up, down, left, right, select, start, LShoulder, RShoulder ) depending on how this is mapped in config.xml (or default)
RShoulder + F1-F8 should work as mute / unmute channels 1-8
Trigger keys shoul work in live mode this way:
Trigger on nonplaying chain will work as START on nonplaying chain
Trigger + Trigger (hit twice) on nonplaying chain will work as START + START on nonplaying chain
RShoulder + Trigger will stop assigned chain (or RShoulder + Trigger + Trigger (twice))
So, what do you think about this?

Re: How to configure piggy for Win98? (9 replies, posted in LittleGPTracker)
Actually my WinXP laptop is dying, so I have another older IBM Thinkpad390E with Win98. And with soundblaster16 compatible soundcard. Yes, maybe I'd like to try it with OPL2 sounds, but I'd like to run it with samples first.
