I don't know if anyone is using these scripts but I fixed some silly errors introduced in that last release. The link in the original post contains the most recent version.

Here's v10c; I don't have the source for this.

I've never had a problem. I use SchismTracker on Linux. Running the tool via Wine works without issue. Since it's been a couple of years, I tested it just now.

Re: What are the Seattle and NW chip scenes like these days? (54 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I'm ashamed to admit I had no idea so much was happening in my own city. I feel like 15-20 years ago this sort of thing was viewed as a novelty. It sounds like that is changing. I'm looking forward to checking out some of these events.
Rents in Seattle are really high right now. Craigslist is rather shit. You'll find better deals through local neighborhood papers.
There's a lot of new construction that should come on the market next year.
Seattle drivers are the worst.
Public transit is OK here, maybe even pretty good. As long as you don't need to go East-West. There are a lot of hills. Many people bike or walk.
Ballard has a lot of cool shops and restaurants but it can feel like it's out of the way.
Capitol Hill is where all the cool kids want to live. Usually they view the other neighborhoods as provincial.
Crown Hill is kind of meh but it's close to Ballard and Greenwood.
Fremont has lots of bars.
Greenwood is getting better, making a case for living up North.
Magnolia, on the top of the hill, is like the suburbs.
Maple Leaf is kind of far from anything.
The U-District has really gone downhill over the last 10 years.

Re: Transfer MML to an LSDJ Cart? (19 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
XPMCK is the only way to make gameboy music via MML
The downside to XPMCK is unless you modify the source code you are stuck with a minimum note length of 32. Of course, you can always modify the souce code.

Re: Wavetable fun (5 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
I've updated wavetable again, I recommend the latest version at the link above. It should fix some silly errors in the wavetable and mkwtmml scripts. I added comments to the source mml for Blocky to show what commands were run to generate the wavetables and mml.

Whoops; I didn't have the most recent version of mkwtmml in that archive; I've updated it. As soon as I have time I'll add better examples; I just need to go back and add comments to the examples showing what commands I used.

Topic: Wavetable fun (5 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
I combined several of my old bash scripts from over the years into one giant script which will convert .sid and .wav files as well as wavetable definitions from Apple VoicePak, Deflemask, LSDJ .sav and .mml to formats usable with Azasel, Deflemask, hmckc (PCE), LSDJ, mck/ppmck (FDS/N106), Musica, Squirrel, TRG and xpmck (GB/KSS/PCE).
For best results sidplay2, SoX and xxd should be installed.
The current version is 0.4; I'll include better examples next time. Maybe if I have more time I'll turn it into something cross platform if enough people find any of this useful.
