The obvious rule ought to be to make fantasy line-ups consisting of acts who've yet to play. Oh, and to spell their names correctly.

Obvious rule clearly not obvious.

How is this related to Playstation? It's an Android device, related to the Xperia line from Sony and not to the gaming line. Sure, it kind of looks like the PSPGo, but that's it.

It's being released with the new "playstation suite" for android, it's kind of a merge between sony's playstation devision and the xperia division. My guess instead of being the good parts of each it's gonna be more so the bad parts.

It's not a very good looking device, and I know on my phone I would rather have a keyboard on my phone, I feel like this isn't really gonna go anywhere but we'll see. Also I don't really see why this is terribly relevant. It's a phone that has game buttons. So what?

A few tips, never ask "am i doing this right?" that will only lead to failure.
Two, there is no cheating, chipmusic is an aesthetic, not a set of rules.
Three, make things until you like them, if you're worrying about what other people think when you're starting out you won't go anywhere with a style that you genuinely like.

As for CC, it sounds pretty good, but you can kind of tell it used to be a song for a band, I'm guessing there were vocals for the band's rendition?
Start playing around a bit more with unusual sounds, rather than just the "I MADE THIS ON A GAMEBOY AND YOU CAN TELL" feel.

Also, people around here tend not to take kindly to "MY FIRST LSDJ" songs, It's fine to post it, but generally people don't like seeing a thread for each person's first song.

That's awesome! do you have a guess for the price range of these devices, and any kind of time frame?

I like the style you have going, I'd say don't devalue your work so much saying you'll do any work for free.
Sure, free can be good, but I'd say know who you're working for first so your name doesn't get stuck on something shit.

What the fuck man, people are really fucking cheap.
Also: the less you press, the more it costs.

Bought and waiting anxiously for it! big_smile

It only costs about $800 plus tax for 500 7'' records, then factoring in covers it's still a base cost of about $2 a record. I don't think I'm being cheap at all, I buy most of my vinyl records from punk labels that sell their 12'' LPs for $7-8. Sorry for having a genuine inquiry based on my experiences with record pricing. Jeez.

yes, production may be cheap, but what about producing the music? Some people would like to profit from their art, and there's nothing wrong with that.
