Minusbaby didn't invent "putting things into squares", that's just a myth perpetuated by the 8bitpeoples propaganda machine! DO NOT FALL FOR THE LIES!

you mean... all the nine letter square truths that i thought were true were actually not true?

This, obviously. Because if it's not made on a gameboy it's not chipmusic.

but seriously, i've messed around with DS-10, i haven't been able to make a complete song with it because of the way the files work, it's no good for me. But you can definitely get some great sounds out of it

somebody should write a sav->gbs, and each LSDJ song could be a SONG into a multi track GBS file. :DDD

I dunno about .sav because that's many songs, but it might be possible with the .lsdsng or whatever from the lsdj file manager, or at least something that can play lsdsngs

Haven't listened yet, but holy shit is that art amazing

Is there a way to make it go kind of monochrome? not the greyscale mode, but like, so that the colors stay within a certain range. like only blue-greens or red-oranges. I think that would be cool, like some kind of button combination that just keeps it from cycling through the whole rainbow.

Cool stuff, you might wanna just edit the description it says "All works are under Creative Commons BY-NC-ND license." But each artists can each choose their own license. you might wanna just include something more along the lines of "Visit the song page on chipmusic.org for specific license information for each song"

But anyway, I really like this, gives a good way to listen to music without going back and forth between pages, and now i don't need to decide what to listen to!

Yeah it probably is poop, but I'm pretty sure there is sound hardware. I wouldn't really be one to argue with anyone about this though so I'll take your word for it.

I saw this and it had the phrase "8-bit" in it, so I automatically reacted by posted it here.

But actually, it's still in the preproduction phase from what I can gather, and I'm not entirely certain of it's sound/video capabilities, but it's a piece of hardware designed to be hackable. I thought this might be of interest, and maybe some of you might wanna keep an eye on this.

how much are you thinking for shipping on one of the DMGs?

as in, how much would it be

are you sure the sav works? I know i've had older savs written over with newer saves by emulators and I'm not really sure why. but you might wanna make sure that the sav you're trying to load hasn't been over written with the other one.
