Also the thing about getting pixel style tattoos is that its hard to find an artist who can do straight lines perfectly.
Take this into account pyEss it's pretty true.

Obviously you need to get a row of Pokeballs on your arm embellished by subdermal implants.
that's nuts. that's just... nuts.
Magician, Neil Baldwin
oh shit Neil Baldwin did the ost to the Magician? I've been listening to that the past few days, its GREAT. This an Overlord are some of my NES favs.
if you're a local band on a show with smaller touring bands that don't have very big draws, then you should NOT get paid anything and all the money should go to the touring band.
totally agree with this, should be a standard
often performance becomes more about your presence than actually playing live but of course that's not always the case either.

Second, Logic is using hardware just as much as lsdj, or many other music making software, but you think logic is software and not lsdj. So why isn't lsdj software?
BTW, I'm not attacking you in so much as just exploring you're strange point of view.
you're not attacking him so much as just being ridiculously pedantic~
music made in logic is "software" because the sounds are synthesized by a piece of software.
music made in a gameboy is "hardware" because the sounds are synthesized/generated by hardware.there is a real difference there -- death to fakebit!
right, but what if you're using lsdj with an emulator?

Well like I said I'm new to all of this,
Can you tell me what would be hardware for future refrence?
just read, but be selective about your sources.
I do shows for free and to get paid. Usually for free. When money is involved most i made was around 200 bucks, usually get around 50 or less. Usually play from 30-mins to an hour. An hour is a maximum though.

Anyway, welcome to the board!
Well LSDJ uses the gameboys sound card which is hardware (if I'm not mistaken), and I prefer to use Apple Logic.
First of all the game boy doesn't have a sound card.

I got my hands on an LSDJ catridge and after a few hours learning it I was beeping away. I dunno if it's frowned upon or seen as 'not true 8 bit', but I'm more of a software man (I just find it easier!).
What do you mean here? Is LSDJ not software?
