Your music is pretty impressive, maybe it is also produced in professional daw, because it sounds processed thru various fx, only thing you may correct is name of lsdj author on all your albums, it is mispelled (right if Johan Kotlinski).

Yes. I know there is some cartridge Xpanders (you can use 2 or 3 cartridges at same time), but i don't know if it works with UII+, Cynthcart or some MIDI interface at same time. And that goodies alltogether are pretty pricy, i like to keep things easy, so i will see how i will manage that sync adapter for defMON with TD-3, that should be enough in this year.

Cool thread, i am also interested long time in MIDI implementations, especially on C64. For example, since i got 1541 Ultimate II+ cartridge of course I don't use floppy disk, and this device has got some incredible things for chiptune musicians, like two sid emulations (only 6581), there is also some Ultimate Audio module (7 voices for samples), and i have asked author of this wonderful device about some midi implementation, because i wanted to connect my midi keyboard to Cynthcart synth and play some things live, but up to now is not implemented, so at least i can use it in emulator VICE, where it works.
By the way, on github page i found some threat about it, and there is also some SID-Wizard MIDI in handling code:

Re: SID chips - need help 100% identify if my chips aren't fake (7 replies, posted in Commodore Computers)
i have Commodore 64G, which have SID chip 8580R5, it works fine, maybe in the future i will add second via sidfx, but i really don't know which one, 8580R5 have pretty good resonance (when i change on-the-fly resonance in defMON from 0-F it is hearable change, but when is filter totally opened, i like to have no resonance), but 6581 have more raw sound, i also think that drums are more harsh.

Yes Frantic, on TD-3 is knob BPM, but it is not to exact value, there is only slow and fast, so i ran defMON track with default speed (all my tunes up to now is at default speed so they can be easily mixed in DJ set) and i moved knob with very little amount to match that speed (shown in photo), but now i have deal with Scannerboy so he can sell me his sync device, which is great.

Re: defMON (438 replies, posted in Commodore Computers)
I have looked at some included tunes, very interesting, some programming in sidtab was similar to mine, i have also thinked about more channels scenario via sidfx, but for me one sid is enough, which is maybe pretty weird, because when i record instruments live (synths, piano, guitars) i have often in Logic Pro X at least 50 stereo audio tracks. But it was always that, 3-4 channels is in trackers enough, when it is more, it is harder to manage so daw/piano roll/live recording to audio tracks is always more comfortable.

Scannerboy is maybe not going here often (i sent him private message), but i have finished right now another defMON tune and i will try to sync this tune to Behringer's TD-3 acid basslines manually, so maybe it is just need some training to match BPM and starting point.

Re: defMON (438 replies, posted in Commodore Computers)
Thanks Frantic, will try it next time, by the way that sync interface mentioned earlier is sold out? I want to sync defMON maybe with lsdj, nanoloop, behringer td-3 bassline or some midi gear.

Gatekeeper here? I didn't noticed any, i think forums are slowly dying or they shrinked to a few active people, for example also famous Kurzweil forum Sonikmatter.com was canceled, or in my territory audiozone.cz have now probably 20 active people from some thousands. Probably youtube, discord, fb and reddit now rule the world.

Price at amazon is not wrong? At polish shop is price circa 40 zloty which should be circa 9 eur and not 45 dollars/40 eur.
