Everyone talks like the "retro" tag is a bad thing. Shit, when people at shows ask me what kind of music I play, I tell 'em, "Retro. Like fucking Pokemon." Typically, they're like, "FUCK! Gotta mosh to that."

Lovin' your writeups, as always!!!

Blip Fest themed episode of The Big Bang Theory. Let's make it happen! *clap clap*

I totes could... But right now the chip scene here is..... well.... just me. So a COMPLETELY chip show might not do as well right now... We'll see. That would be a load of fun, though. I'll start talking to some of the venue owners around here. They've been really cool in the past with trying new things.

Edit: Oh, but, yeah! I'd totally come out to St. Louis to play with some monster chip artists!!! heart

OH MY GOD THIS. THIS THIS THIS. NEVERMIND THE MIXER. THIS.

I'm just curious, what exactly do you guys want this for? LSDj tutorial sessions? Fullscreen gaming? Not having to hold a DMG in your hands? I don't want to flatter myself into thinking shitwave is this popular...

It would remove the need for the super gameboy, and thus allow songs using a DMG linked to another DMG to be played while using the video.

generally people go to concerts to have a good time. if you can't supply that what are you doing? you have to be entertaining if you want to be an entertainer.

Spot on. As a matter of fact, you being entertaining has a LOT more to do with crowd reaction than your music. (Not to say the music isn't important, of course.)

I bought a boss EQ pedal from a friend of mine for hella cheap and I'll say, it REALLY helps with live sound. It's not necessary, what with your mixer, but it certainly allows you to get more specific in your boosts and cuts. I HIGHLY recommend trying one out! (You can either run your gameboy to the EQ pedal and then to the mixer board or even run your mixer to the EQ pedal and then to your speakers/pa!)
