hey everyone / howdy y'all,

not sure if everyone's aware of it, but Texas' chip scene is picking up a lot of momentum lately!

we've been holding monthly shows down here in Austin, and have some coming up on Sept 12 and Oct 3. at all of our shows, we have a big merch table and would love to give out promo materials / cds / stickers / whatever.

Kitsch – we already have some of your mini business cards, but if you'd like to send us stickers or anything else, we'd be glad to put it out!

we also put out a compilation album last March and have a 2nd volume in the works – in addition to that, a lot of TX artists have been putting out albums lately, or are just about to. and we've got tons of stickers and posters if anyone's interested.

so if anyone wants some fine Texas merch or music, PM me!

and if you want to send us anything, we'll do our best to promote you:

this alt poster by Jeremy Buzeck is equally ultimate and equally awesome; but it's 200% more dad!!

been listening to this EP for about the past 2 weeks (thx Ryan for the early demos), and it's really stuck.

little moments – "forget the numbers," "I'm not a witch," "what'll be left of me when I'm 51?" – found a way to drill inside my head, amidst the neon melodies and big drum fills, and remain there for days.

really like the fact that there's just 4 elements to all the songs – gameboy, drums, guitar, Elaiza – but every element feels like it has its place and keeps me interested.

hope to see y'all play a show sometime, your songs have tons of energy!

beautiful and inspirational; it's interesting that pixel art is a new technology to him, yet we all consider it "retro"

2013 was a reboot to the Texas chip scene. It's been on and off active for the past few years, but we're getting our network together and making it last long term this time. We'd love to get some traveling artists through TX, and are going to get a show together for SXSW in March 2014.
