I love to see development on any of the older consoles. Just like anything else, if it's not for you, then don't buy it.
I see love and research and development into this, so I encourage it. Go ahead and knock it, but unless you yourself
have built something with love, than you really will not understand! Everyone here knocks anything that costs over $100.
I don't really understand it, but it seems to be this is the rule here.
I just bought a Prophet 6. I have always wanted a Prophet and could never afford it. Now that I finally can, Dave gets back the Sequential name and redesigns the prophet with a new VCO design and updated layout. I received it and the main board had a problem and needed to be replaced, which I did two days ago. I have since spent the entire time playing with it and now I am starting a deep meaningful relationship with this instrument. If you are going to evaluate all of your instrument relationships based on purely financial numbers, than you would never think to spend $2700.00 for a synth. Does that mean you NEED to spend $2700.00 to have a deep meaningful relationship, obviously NO, But if you think that you may even be able to feel, understand and just for a moment glimpse at real synth design greatness that has been nurtured over the last three decades, than the price does not even enter your mind. You just know you need it! Not want, but NEED. I obviously was not the only one in thinking this, because Dave sold out of this initial run of 500 in two days.
Leave the hate and encourage the love. Especially if you don't understand it!

Thanks for the acknowledgment. Really all I want are two things:
Publicly admit or deny that you are selling or have sold unauthorized GenMDM's on ebay.
Publicly tell me who I've "left hangin" or explain why you would make groundless claims against my reputation.
As it is with most things in life. It is a bit more complicated than that. If you are willing to leave your white marble perch and realize certain realities then we can talk. Otherwise it is what it is.
Then we agree, Furrtek holds the future. If he has already cut a deal with Kitsch, then this is all unnecessary.
Maybe Kitsch would like to step in an enlighten us all, and in the least let us know if something is already in motion, that would be
the gentlemanly thing to do.
Enjoy your vaca Jazz and don't worry Catskull. Up for a Skype session? All your questions will be answered if you want them answered.
If clones happen we will have another thread of fun and fire and swearing. What a time to be alive.
In the meantime, ill be thinking what to do with mine.
Don't let it out of your site. Like I said, having Furrtek on board would be ideal, however if we need to reverse engineer this to get started then that is what we will have to do. I don't use twitter, yes I am an old bastard, so if someone would please try and contact him directly I would appreciate it. I am willing to make it worth his time.
SuperBustySamaraiMonkey, can you take decent shots of the front and the back of this so we can at least see what we are up against?
Jazzmarazz, you down to help you crazy Eagle fiend?
catskull, good idea about a site. I can host it off of my server if you want to admin it. Might place a banner asking for coding help too unless someone wants to step forward? Maybe Nitro if he has time?
Let's try and make this happen.
Oh, and by the way in case any of you think I am trying to get rich off of this, please! Any profit goes right back in to making it bigger and better JUST AS IT HAS BEEN THIS WHOLE TIME!
If Furrtek would be interested in helping that would be ideal. Does anyone have direct contact with him?
Can someone PM me a way to directly contact him?
If I could shoulder the hardware burden, then maybe that could free him to work on the software side.
Please realize that the prices he had listed would have to at least be doubled to take care of costs and R&D,
but if he would be interested in going forward and if anyone else here wants to join in to help than I would
gladly finance it.
I think this was a great concept and it would be great to see it be a fully functional and fully supported project.
I guess I was asking too much from this community and I got the response I expected.... NOTHING.
I have a very simple question for all of you.
Did any of you contact him and offer to help, or am I the only one?
These projects are daunting. You have no idea how big until you jump in.
Very early on I PM'd him and offered help. Even if you do get yours shipped, if it is too buggy to work,
what have you really gained? Support over time is sometimes more important than the object itself is.
'Whatever we can do to help' should be the motto here, but as was in my case, it never happened.
I have heard plenty about you too stargazer. You have left people hangin' too, don't act like you are Lilly white, PLEASE!
You just change your name when you get into trouble. What will it be next time? Numbskull?
So, mid June and nothing?
Did this turn into vapor ware?
Truly a April fools joke?
If you are asking for the best, then super8 for sure! I have worked with Nick and these are amazing and thoroughly researched out.

PM'd.
Thank you Yogi, yes, I was trying to get it to work on the INL cart. That is where I seem to be having trouble. Thank you for the help.
Yep, your procedure works like a charm for Pulsar, but when I try the same for PR8 it just resets PR8 to having no .sav and I need to soft reset in order for a new .sav to be created, but for some reason trying to get a .sav to be restored is eluding me. Yes, I have kept the same naming convention as the ROM too. So I am kinda stumped.
