The perfect box for generating dark, LoFi, earthy tones. It can make a volca bass scream like an overdriven 303, It can make any modern synth sound like it is strait out of the 60s, It can make a bass guitar produce spacey low frequency earthquakes. This box can also produce a wide variety of sound effects, even with no input signal . Since the reverb spring is completely exposed you can play this like some weird and wonderful instrument and the built in piezo allows another level of creative experimentation.

The reverb spring is from 1972, originally housed in an organ, it now sits on top of what was originally a wine box. On the input side we have a preamp with plenty of drive to overdrive the spring, a toggle switch lets you choose between the jack input or a built in piezo p[pickup (yes it is sort of a percussive instrument too) On the output is an old Behringer distortion pedal with a bypass button. There is also a dry/wet knob by the audio output.

The unit features LEDs installed under the reverb spring to produce a intriguing pink/purple glow, There is a switch to select sound reactive mode witch makes the LEDs flash along with the input signal when it is sent into overdrive. The LEDs fade from red to pink in this mode.

Left stock with no mods, this is still a very usable box, with the mods i have installed you can create very interesting soundscapes that would fit perfectly in genres like IDM and Triphop.

I am offering these clock generators on a made to order basis on my etsy store [3 week turn around]

ETSY LISTING HERE

The box provides 4 clock outputs to sync 4 instances of nanoloop together. A simple start/stop button and knob controls the clock, the LED flashes to let you know the clock is running.

The clock outputs are on 3.5mm jack cables, and custom link cables (with a 3.5 at one end) will be included in the sale (you have to select weather you want DMG link cables or GBA link cables.

There is an option to add a MIDI output to send a MIDI clock to other devices or a DAW

This version of the clock generator works great with nanoloop 1.7 and 2.7 in analog clock mode. Though I can provide nanoloop 1.3 clock outputs upon request.

LoFi Future - GrooveBoy Classic V1.0

View the unit in action at the youtube links below:

http://youtu.be/Tl1uykKDBwM

The GrooveBoy Classic is a GameBoy Advance rehoused into a rugged wooden enclosure along side an arduino and a DC power conditioner that helps to improve the noise floor of the gameboy when using an external power supply.

The controls of the Gameboy have been rewired so the unit can be operated easily when placed in a conventional studio/live setup. The built in arduino gives it MIDI in, just like any other synthesizer it can respond to MIDI information including pitch bend, mod and sync.

I built this unit to run LSDJ, Nanoloop and MIDI GB. You can flash all 3 of these programs to one cartridge and have them selectable from the main menu, or you can just throw in a legit LSDJ or Nanoloop cart and use it just for the one program. And it played original game boy games as normal (but not advance games, as i have not wired in the shoulder buttons)

A cartridge is easily installed by removing 6 screws to release the top panel to access the GBA motherboard. Its not something you will want to do on the fly. I built this with the intention of installing a cartridge in there and leaving it in there for good, only to remove it when its time to back files up.

Please note the cartridge is not included in this sale! Clear instructions on how to install your own cartridge will be included with the sale!

The I/O on the back is as follows:

12V DC In
Left Audio Out
Right Audio Out
MIDI In

A headphone output is located on the front (disables rear outputs) along side the master volume control.

I have for sale a custom built Groovesizer mk1 (software and original design by MoShang)

Here is a demo video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mimbZdl5MWc

It is built with hand crafted wooden panels around a heavy steel chassis. the built in granular synthesizer sounds great! very gritty, lofi and squelchy (sounds like a dirty 303, minus the slide) It can also sequence external synthesizers via the MIDI out port. This could be used to sequence your gameboy via an arduinoboy.

It accepts 6V-12V power supplies as little as 200ma (i will include a power supply if im shipping to the UK)

Selling this for CHEEP as i need a quick sale to pay some urgent bills!

You can buy it directly from me using paypal (email at [email protected])

Or you can buy it via my etsy store! https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/2071555 … er-and-16?
