your percussion section needs more variation. for not lossing any power you should variate the second half of the 4/4 (open hi-hat and such). also, if the kick gets fuller the sound of the track will evolve a lot.

interesting WAV channel.

the song is repetitive, which is not a bad thing. but the use of more variation could be interesting. more development is heard near the end, i suggest that you should try it before.

that kick is good, but i guess you can make the percussions better and stand out more, as an important part of the variation and in a more dedicated sound design.

keep it up!

you have an mp3 render? if this is awesome/ridiculous/shitty i'm curious to give it a shot. perhaps the results can be interesting for new composing view point.

Open it up. Look next to the cart socket. There are 2 small resistors. Solder your left and right on the side of the resistors closest to the cart socket.
I might do a tut for this soon.
It's insanely simple like all pro-sound mods.

the other day I was with the GBA opened, found the ground and try to search for audio output points on the PCB, perhaps i've missed this. others sound not that good. Nex said someting about cutting the traces of the headphone amplifier, i'll love to try this.

is there any schematics of the gba, to know where to look for?

cheers!

yeah, and it's only LSDJ oriented. i'm guessing that the non-battery carts may have different behavior and it's not considered ( like the nanoloop ones, with flash memory). or even the 64MB usb ones, may sound different to the bleepbloops, just to name a couple.

even a LGPT sound comparison (dingoo, canoo, psp, gp2x) would be nice.
