DS lite has the best sound for nanoloop 2.x. It's ridiculously better than any other gameboy.

You can actually do some live coding (fuck off supercollider) on the atari. Look up for the atari basic reference manual, over the internet are millions of examples (pokey maybe? ). Do you have a reference of what you want to do with it? (to give you some pointers on your direction.)

wow, those cart are looking very pretty!

thank you Yogi for the help, I'm buying this ASAP.

Pulsar is pretty nice, finally I will use it on hardware big_smile

you can check the permission with ls -l on the file folder.

anyways have you tried

sudo su (to login as superuser)

and then run the program?

have you tried running the software as superuser?

if sudo lsusb shows it up perhaps is a permission issue.

Or maybe changing the permissions  (chmod 777) over the ttyl1,

or whatever name the system gives to the plugged cart. Good luck!

yeah,  I'm on the web page and don't really know what I'm buying, LOL.

We need some spoonfeeding. I just want the kazoo and a ready to go pulsar cart. Really don't know which combo to buy.

Care to elaborate? thanks in advance for your time guys.

This is amazing.

thanks! I've saved myself from the claws of a gamecube wink

Works great.
Sound quality is pretty bad.

1. Try to do what makes you happy in all aspects of your life.

2. If you still want to make music, do it.

3. Work Hard on your stuff. Be patient with yourself. Have lots of fun doing it. It may suck at some starting point, but you'll get better eventually.

4. Repeat 3 until you're satisfied with the result. (it can take years, be prepared. Of course it may vary on how serious you are about your music.)

BUMP

Glad I've found this. I can confirm that this works like a charm on GBA advance using nanoloop 2.5.

Of course you need to manually pan all your patterns to one channel and the other one will of course only record the noise.

(You can copy your bank in nanoloop to an empty one so you don't have to sacrifice the original)
