THIS IS VERY RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS
I wonder - Would it be difficult to have two sets of outs?
On piggy I've often lamented that I'd love to have a "dry" out for drums/bass & "wet" out which can be used with effects - lead synths/percussion etc..

Use ever-so-slightly detuned (finetuned) PU1 PU2 and play same note, one with a slight delay. It's caused by the two square waves coming in and out of sync thus re-enforcing / canceling each other out over time.
