Hmmm... I thought that you cannot record notes into the sequencer using the keyboard, it is strictly for jamming and live use. The latest version of the manual has everything there is to know about the keyboard: http://www.littlesounddj.com/lsd/latest … _4_0_0.pdf Look at page 50 under "Keyboard Control".

As for creating instruments, tables are the way to go for creating good instruments to use, as effect commands are not efficient for use with the keyboard. I guess it is a good idea to just create a SAV file for exclusive keyboard use and fill it with lots of cool instruments.

Ceafin, the keyboard should work after enabling keyboard in sync options and then pressing play in the sequencer, nothing else needs writing into the sequencer, again if you want to use envelopes or effects put them in the table of the instrument instead of the effects column of the sequencer

Please do smile

Wow, nice looking sequencer, Logan. A bit off topic, but do you know of anywhere I can get a case like that for one of my projects? I need to rehouse a TR-505 and an enclosure like that would look slick

This is absolutely beautiful music heart The opening track blew my socks off, and they remained off until the album finished

Streamed, loved, downloaded

I guess the only advantage is the tape is more compact and much cheaper than a disk drive? Getting a program onto the tape and then loading it will take ages! Last time I loaded a tape in this way was when I was about 8 years old and the load time felt like an eternity

Just keep writing and writing. Better sound design, composition and more interesting ideas will start making themselves known to you the more you create with the program. It's an experience thing smile

Also when you share a work-in-progress or want critism for a track you've made, you'll be far more successful in getting replies if you found a site you could stream the music from. Most people would see that they have to download this and not bother.

For example Soundcloud is awesome for sharing scraps and snippets of tracks you're making wink

Nice! This guy's making some awesome progress. One thing I haven't found concerning these carts is a ROM compatibility list. Is there any information of this sort anywhere?

On my cart is Muddy GB, Nanosynth, Nanovoice, Stepgirl, Onputer, Pounder, Sludgeon, Electric Drum & Nerdrix. You know, the usual.

I still have all my Game Boy games from my childhood though, which don't get played any more

Go for it mate if you really want to. I seriously wouldn't spend more than that though, it's quite a lot. I don't speak Italian, but I found this: http://cgi.ebay.it/SALDATORE-A-STAGNO-T … 4490wt_842

It looks alright and it costs much less than the one you listed. Its a cheap one but it might be all you need. It's your call really.

Everyone who contributed really did a marvellous job smile The Mist Toggles' track is fuckin' intense - good finisher. The songs transpire into one another in an awesome way, the album really feels like one piece of music

I just have a simple 20 Watt Soldering Iron that plugs straight into the wall. I've had it for years and its the only one I've ever needed. Its got a nice pointed tip so it can work on small things

This is the exact one I've got
http://www.rapidonline.com/Tools-Fasten … plug/73960

It's great I've done copious amounts of circuit bending with it, guitar effects building, synth/noise devices etc. Don't need anything fancy

Cool beans, it sounds really sweet man. It would be very nice to have a little Midi enabled board as you mentioned. Cool work

What would be the best program to use with an XU1541 on Windows XP? I used to use OpenCBM but it's been so long since I've used it I can't remember how to work it! XP doesn't have DOS, so is this an issue? I'm needing to make some new disks up and I want to make it easier on myself

I believe this has already been discussed, but it was concluded that there may not yet be enough activity on the subject to warrant it's own sub category.

I'm sure we can trust the devs to introduce it if and when it becomes appropriate smile
