I was able to arrange "The First Noel" and "O Come All Ye Faithful" into one hymn and spiced up the ending a bit. Enjoy!

Thanks, added

Thanks everyone. Really nice stuff. I will add the comp to the main page shortly.

Others have expressed interest, so if you have anything you'd like to add, I can certainly upload it whenever you are finished.

The comp link on the main page will lead here:

what happened with this?

Yeah I wish I could perform at the GD Boston thing.

BTW if Bit Shifter happens to see this, I'd kill to throw Let It Snow on the comp... SO GOOD. This is my favorite X-mas cover ever. That and the first track on 8-bit Weapons CD that I bought (that came in the 5.25 diskette) and RushJet1 O Holy Night.

If you hear some wacky chip Christmas music on [adult swim] this year, it is my xmas album.

If you have any xmas music you want me to add as a free download mini xmas comp, I could throw it on the site for exposure. My URL http://www.8bitchristmas.com is flashed during the commercials.
So let me know if there is any interest and if I can get a decent enough amount of songs I can toss this on the site.

price drop - added new item

I borrowed these from a friend for about 3 months while "between" monitors, and I couldn't believe how good they sounded and how well they translated. I especially liked that I could mix on them at low volumes, and I could still hear that punchy Mackie monitor bass tone (absolutely absent on these Yamaha's I have).

I have these Yamaha HS50M speakers and they make it nearly impossible to mix chip music bass parts, even after months of trial and error. I just ordered some Adam A7X speakers, so hopefully these will give some better translating bass. I had the Mackie HR824MKi - best monitors I've ever had for electronic / chip music, and I was a fool to sell them. Also had NS-10M's - not ideal for chip or any electronic music. 0_o

Monitor selection is a subject that has been beaten to death, but I am curious, for those of you that use DAWs and mix and master your stuff, what monitors do you use for chip music and are you happy/unhappy with them? How to they excel and what are the weak spots?

Since it was posted under releases, ilkae's Stained Glass Pinata could definitely be playing in the background.
