Such good stuff! I've been messing with the track order for fun... I really like putting my track right before Monotron's since we both prominently used the same piano sample. My track becomes a good intro to his!

@tempsoundsolutions: I share the same sentiments as you on this one for sure. Not sure if this thread should be locked, though... even if it's to continue this discussion that jazz versions of video game songs really have little to do with chipmusic.

Well I opened my set Friday night with my track for this comp and the crowd (and even the sound guy) loved it. So I guess it's done!

Now you guys are just mindlessly insulting me out of hate
No, as one of the site's administrators I am simply suggesting that perhaps a permaban of someone who is not really contributing to the community and brazenly calling out a moderator who clearly acted within the boundaries of the rules (auction end update bumps, pffft), might be in the best interest of this forum.

Re: MIDIbox SwinSID (83 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
I don't really want to see this thread closed. This is can still be a healthy, productive discussion and definitely one this community could benefit from. I'm hoping we all learn a thing or two about intellectual property here. I mean, I'll admit that when I first saw the thread, it never crossed my mind that this project was inappropriate use of the sammich or midi box technology. Apparently wilba does and I would definitely like to hear more about why. And perhaps this will help others in the community think twice before starting a project that appropriates work others' work and the legality/legitimacy/morality of it.
