I havent heard any word of marc looking to support opendingux. right now it doesnt seem like its worth it.
why doesn't it seem worth it? the power switch daemon alone would free up the hard coded volume buttons, give you a suspend mode and allow for backlight adjustment. all current dingux users would have to do is drag some different OS files onto their sd. i'm all about going to opendingux ASAP.
adding onto what matt.nida said, don't forget you can also sample entire songs, break them up into chains and what not, load em into piggy and dj with like 16 tracks at once
I can't imagine this on the dingoo. It takes a lot of a hell to load samples of 1 second long, imagine songs of 4, 6, 8 minutes long. But whatever, maybe i'm talking shit here.
Probably OT here and more apt for the piggy tracker thread, but I tried the 512 RAM thinger on my dingoo (http://boards.dingoonity.org/dingoonity egaram512/) and it worked, thus making the dingoo the most huge sample ready piggy handheld build.
Yo Simon my man! Dingoo audio has been fixed for a long ass time. Never used the PSP, so I can't say how the audio compares to the dingoo, but the dingoo output doesn't totally suck, I can tell you that. Both myself and Jordan have rocked it live (tho I prefer the nasty bass gp2x live).
Wiki looks pretty much the same as this one: syntax is the same, only the actual buttons are different, which makes sense since you likely have a different joypad than the one in the example. Right? Or am I missing something?
I did check that, but made the key reassignment changes with Dashcode. I re-made the config in TextWrangler, put it in the same folder as the executable and it worked perfectly! Thanks bleo!
PULSELOOPER, I wish I could help you but I can't... but do you happen to know which button on a macbook is the equivalent of LT/Left Shoulder/Right Control? I want to clone my chains/phrases but I can't.
My googling skills have failed me. I tried to reassign with my config.xml with no success. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -sam
Also, gotta make sure you edit it in a text editor that won't add any hidden formatting code, cuz that breaks things. Also also also check where you're putting the config.xml: I can't remember if it needs to sit in the same folder as the executable or not w/ OSX (also varies depending on if you're using latest ghetto vs. latest stable).
Possible bug: I had a new PM this morning and the notification bubble was coming out of the profile button. Clicking it too me directly to the message tho.
